Greater Health Now Manager of Innovation

Reports to: Executive Director

Status: Exempt, Full-Time

Supervises: TBD

Salary Range: $75,000 – 85,000 annually

Location: South Central Region: Kittitas, Yakima, Benton, Franklin, Walla Walla, Columbia, Garfield, Asotin, and Whitman Counties, including tribal land of Yakama Nation.

Greater Health Now Accountable Community of Health is an independent nonprofit organization committed to building vibrant and health communities.

Essential Functions

  • Actively identify key areas for innovative projects according to partner-identified priorities that align goals within the ACH’s broader vision
  • Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Submit proposals and supporting documents based on the requirements.
  • Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.

· Create, produce, and deliver relevant promotional, educational, and informational collateral for internal and external stakeholders.

· Assist in designing and implementing Population Health initiatives

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Expectations

  • Reliable and efficient work ethic
  • Keen understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Effective communication and active listening skills with coworkers and a wide range of

stakeholders

· Excellent knowledge of grant proposal submission and fundraising processes

· Ability to understand programs and funding requirements of the organization

· Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources

· Understands community-clinical linkages

  • Experience in data collection and interpretation
  • Coach and assist team members on improving communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs and align resources.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and tasks.
  • Open, thoughtful, and curious.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and to participate fully in a team process
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite Competency in technology and online collaboration tools: Advanced experience with MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, and other online virtual meeting tools.
  • Ability to complete necessary tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow directions, be a self-starter, and collaborate with coworkers.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, or related field

Preferred: Master’s degree

Bilingual English /Spanish highly preferred

Required: Five years of Population or Public health or social services experience, experience in grant writing

Pay Range – Exempt: $75,000 – 85,000 annually

This position is full-time and is based in the South-Central Region of Washington State. The role is hybrid.
